Dogfish Head SeaQuench Ale (DE)
A slightly tart and refreshing mash-up of Kolsch, Gose, and Berlinerweiss style beers. Brewed with lime juice, Chesapeake sea salt, black limes, and coriander, this beer is extremely aromatic with notes of spiced citrus-y lime. The flavor profile is reminiscent of a Gose with the fresh tartness of the lime notes upon the first sip, followed by a malty sweetness to finish and add balance. Great for raw oysters and afternoons outside.
Belle Ambiance Pinot Grigio 2015 (CA)
A delicate nose of floral notes (lemon blossoms, jasmine flowers, and honeysuckle) mingled with tropical and stone fruits. The flavor profile is best described as savory and refreshing with notes of white nectarines, honeydew, and tart lemon. A fine addition to a cheese plate or grilled shrimp.
Belle Ambiance Pinot Noir 2014 (CA)
Aromas of cherries, plums, and cocoa are easily notable upon the first pour. Flavors of ripe fruits and toasty oak are balanced by soft tannins and soft acidity to create a clean, fruit-filled palate with a refreshing finish. Pair with anything from vegetarian pizza to dark chocolate dipped cherries.
Chronic Cellars Sofa King Bueno 2015 (CA)
A blend of Syrah, Grenache, Petit Sirah, Mourvedre, and Tannat create the “wine of the party.” Enticing aromas of leather, red currant, and black tar lead to a surprisingly bright and full palate of red and black fruits (blackberries, cherries, and strawberries) coupled with hints of milk chocolate and caramel.
Toad Hollow Risque Sparkling Wine (France)
Made in the Methode Ancestrale style, this sweet sparkling differs from most sparkling wines since there is no second fermentation. The first fermentation is completed in the bottle, allowing the carbon dioxide to be released by the sugar turning into alcohol, resulting in a bubbly, sweet, low alcohol sparking. Lemon and lime notes fragrances lead to a palate of apricots and pears with a light, softly carbonated mouthfeel. The perfect drink for before dinner or after something special.
